Tom has spent his professional career in Sales and Sales Management.  Initially starting his sales career in the construction equipment space, he quickly transitioned to selling construction software, ultimately landing in the software vertical, helping consulting organizations to become more efficient and profitable.  Tom grew up in Nebraska, where he attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

In the mid-1980s, Tom started selling construction equipment in Omaha to companies such as Kiewit, Hawkins, Turner Industries, etc.  While working in conjunction with the construction industry trade association organization (Associated General Contractors), he identified an opportunity to move to Centennial, Colorado, to work for a construction software company.  This option provided an enticing opportunity for him to return to Colorado, where he spent a season as a ski lift operator at Keystone in the early 1980s.

As Tom's business career was thriving, he and his family acquired a second home in the mid-2000s, initially at Keystone.  After 12 years at Keystone, he then moved to the Wildernest community in Summit County in 2018.  After splitting time between Centennial and Summit County, Tom and his wife of 37 years moved full-time to Summit County in 2022, where they take full advantage of the many outdoor activities our amazing community has to offer.

Having embraced Summit County as his full-time residence since 2022, Tom is deeply invested in the community's vibrancy and well-being. He is eager to leverage his strategic business acumen, problem-solving skills, and commitment to operational excellence to serve as a Board Member for the Buffalo Mountain Metropolitan District. Tom is dedicated to contributing his best efforts to foster a stronger, more efficient, and thriving community for all residents.
