Architectural Review

All Wildernest property owners must apply for and receive approval from the Buffalo Mountain Metropolitan District (BMMD) before starting any exterior modifications, such as re-painting, re-roofing, re-siding, deck expansions, driveway modifications, or landscaping. Failure to do so may result in delays, denials, and fines. Projects are reviewed for compliance with guidelines, compatibility with neighboring structures, climate suitability, easement restrictions, and Summit County permit requirements. Prior to selling a property, the existence of BMMD Protective Covenants, established in 1969 and 1971, must be disclosed. These covenants ensure the subdivision's desirability and protect property values.

Board Submission Deadline

If you are seeking a variance from the Board of Directors or requesting approval for a new construction application, all required documents, including the application, must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the Friday prior to the Board meeting to be considered for that meeting.

To submit a successful application, ensure it is complete, include all required documentation and pictures. The review process can take up to several weeks, depending on the size and scope of the project. We look forward to working with you!
