Nick is a highly accomplished professional with a robust educational background and extensive experience in military leadership and Information Technology. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado, and a Master of Information Assurance / Cyber Security from Regis University. Following his active-duty service as an Army officer in numerous leadership positions, Nick transitioned to a civilian career in Information Technology in 1994, while concurrently serving in the US Army Reserves. His civilian roles have included business development for state and federal agencies, regional operational management, strategic project management, and federal space network planning. During his reserve service, Nick completed a tour in Iraq supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. A Summit County property owner since 1996, he and his wife have resided full-time in Wildernest since 2023.
