Summit County is helping residents and property owners create defensible space by providing free chipping and disposal for conifer and aspen branches, logs, and small trees. If you clear this woody vegetation from around your home and stack it in a pile, they'll chip it and haul it away for free.

Any woody vegetation you'd like to remove from your property needs to be neatly stacked by 8 AM on July 20th in order to be picked up! Please do not put your chipping pile on the side of the road any earlier than July 13th.
