Summit County is helping residents and property owners create defensible space by providing free chipping and disposal for conifer and aspen branches, logs, and small trees. If you clear this woody vegetation from around your home and stack it in a pile, we’ll chip it and haul it away for free.

Any woody vegetation you'd like to remove from your property needs to be neatly stacked by 8 AM on July 21st in order to be picked up! See more information about the chipping program and pile guidelines here. 

Pick up will happen between July 21st and July 25th.
